Greetings from Austria! 

We have been serving through various projects here since 2011. Although our work continues to take on different forms, our goal has always been to foster community and connection. More specifically, we aim to provide space and opportunity for people to experience meaningful relationships not only with each other, but also with Jesus. And those things just go hand in hand. It’s especially on our hearts to see those with differing beliefs and cultures find community with each other -community that crosses lines between denominations and even busts through the walls that separate “believers” and “unbelievers.” Because where religion divides, Jesus brings connection. He invites us to see others through his eyes. He calls us to live generously, letting humility and love take root in our hearts.

Wow, that all sounds so great on paper, but it can actually get pretty messy in real life! We are just imperfect people navigating through uncharted territory, but we trust Jesus to show us the way. 

So our work may look different from day to day and from season to season. It often involves music, but sometimes it’s graphic design. We might be preaching, or just sitting and chatting over coffee (and cake- Austrians always have cake). Sometimes we’re leading worship or a Bible study, and other times we are teaching English.
